Jen Fe Plus and ForsLean

Sabinsa, a herbal extracts maker and provider, has completed a 12 week study to more completely examine the safety and efficacy of its trademarked component ForsLean, which research suggests increases lean body mass.

60 overweight volunteers, male and female, took part in the double blind and randomized study. Ages ranged from 25 to 45 and body mass indexs (BMI) lower limit 28 and upper limit of 40 and/or body fat density higher than 30 percent in males and 40 % in females.

Research subjects were either consumed 250 mg of ForsLean (10 percent standardized forskolin) roughly 30 minutes before meals twice daily or a matching placebo.

Research participants who took ForsLean burned an average of 3.81 pounds or 4.02 percent of their total body weight, while the placebo group gained an average of about 1/2 pound or 0.29 percent of their whole body mass.

Additionally, research volunteers who obtained the placebo acquired 0.68 % body mass, while subjects obtaining ForsLean  0.46 % body fat which was replaced by lean body mass.

ForsLean is an extract derived from Coleus forskohlii roots, a flora native born to warm temperate habitats including India. Coleus forskohlii is the only identified plant source of forskolin, a natural compound that has been proved to step up lean body mass and help balance body composition.

  1. I recently lost over 60lbs and went from size 42 waist to a 34. Exercise was a huge factor, but I would have to say what we eat and when is a more crucial factor. I try to eat 5-6 smaller protein-rich meals with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, I eat my biggest meal of the day in the morning and taper off with subsequent ones throughout the day. This helps get the metabolism going and keeps the appetite under control. Obese people often eat less than I do, except they skip breakfast, chug sugary sodas all day, snack on greasy carb-laden junk food and then gorge before dinner and up until bedtime. By doing that, you are essentially telling your body to store fats and metabolize foods at a slower rate.
